What I mean by false ecumenism is the wrong way of doing ecumenism which is not the one which Vatican II teaches, those who espouse False Ecumenism are the following:
1. They are those who dialogue with other religions, yet they are afraid to share their faith to others because they might think that the truths of our faith are very offensive to other religions and sects.
2. They are those who love compromise, who rather prefer not to discuss Catholic truths which are hurtful to Non Catholics and adopt their heretical teachings so that it will be more pleasing to the eyes of Non Catholics.
3. They are those who say ‘all religions are equal’ and those who say ‘no religion, no church can save us’ or ‘we don’t need to tackle the dogmas of the faith, what is important is that you do good to others’.
4. They are those who innovate and water down the doctrines of the faith and treat those who upheld the traditional beliefs as fundamentalists, traditionalists, old school people, close minded people, medieval doctrines etc.
5. They are those who are indifferent with the dogmas of the faith.
6. They are those who promote in their homilies and teachings the teachings of otherAanti Catholic sects in parishes rather than promoting the Catholic faith and doesn’t mind the attacks of other sects towards the faith.
7. They are those who say that it is not enough to know the Catholic Faith but that we must also attend and know the faith of Anti Catholics. Those who hold on to the Catholic Faith are tagged as close minded, or fundamentalist people.
These people are not true Catholics but introduce new heretical ideas in the Church. Most of them are liberal, progressive and cafeteria catholics
