Jesus the Christ (Matthew 16:20, Acts 3:20);
1. He has a HUMAN NATURE, therefore He could speak as a man: “The Father is greater than I” John 14:28
2. He has a DIVINE NATURE, therefore He could speak as GOD: “I and the Father are ONE” john 10:30
He could NOT be a HUMAN PERSON since that would make Him two Persons.
He is a DIVINE PERSON with TWO NATURES.
Persons DIE on CROSSES, NOT NATURES.
therefore, since the PERSON died, GOD died on the CROSS. (Acts 3:15, Revelation 1:5, 2:8)
since GOD cann0t die in HIS DIVINE NATURE, He was living in HIS DIVINE NATURE while He was dying in HIS HUMAN NATURE.. He was both living and dead at the same time.
