6th FORMATION MEETING OF CFD METRO MANILA: BIGGER AND BETTER!!!

GROWING BIGGER AND STRONGER: CFD Members in Metro Manila led by Atty. Marwil Llasos the over-all Governor and CFD Manila President Michael Vincent Suico raising their arms in show of dedication to defend the Church and the Truth of Faith handed on by the Lord Jesus to the Catholic Church through the Apostles.

On June 28, 2015 the CFD Metro Manila members once again gathered together for another Formation Meeting. It was once again led by Atty. Marwil Nacor Llasos the CFD Luzon Governor.

More young people came to join the CFD, more young professionals offered themselves to be defenders of the Church. The Meeting and Formation was full of life and of fun especially when the Mock Debate was held to train the members how to defend the faith.

The topic is THE REAL PRESENCE OF CHRIST IN THE HOLY EUCHARIST. It was defended very well by Kuya Mharbert Magbitang Canilang, Leonard Aquino and Phoenyx Barcelona Brucelo while the negative side was manned by veterans Kuya Melchor Manalili, Bien Agabin and Stephen Manalo Cervantes.

Atty. Mars moderated the debate and closed it by clarifying points, teaching debating skills and rules as well as answering questions and clarifying points.

The participants even came in full costume as SOLDIERS OF CHRIST. They arrived in Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force and Rangers attire including Fire Men and Sheriff. Ha ha ha… The girls looked like Lara Croft and Charlie’s Angels combined.

Books and religious materials were distributed as gifts to those who were able to answer well and made an impact in the occasion courtesy of Atty. Mars, Fr. Abe and CFD Manila President Michael Vincent Buan Suico who took these shots with the help of Simon Jake Beringuela.

The CFD Metro Manila is growing and increasing and it is being blessed by the Lord month after month.
