Pangasinan nursing exam top passers give thanks at Manaoag Shrine

“Overwhelmed ako. I prepared for the exam pero hindi ko nag-expect na masasama ako sa top,” said Solomon, from the University of Pangasinan.
“Noong una speechless kasi talagang super hirap po ng exam namin,” said Fernandez, a schoolmate of Solomon.
“Hindi talaga ako makapaniwala po talagang ilang beses ko pang tinignan yung resulta,” added Billote, also a University of Pangasinan product.
“Ang saya-saya ko po … nablanko pa nga ko after the result,” Estrada, also from University of Pangasinan, said.
Two more from the University of Pangasinan landed in the top 10 are Jean Laluan and Kate Lowin Cardona.
Of the 17,891 who took the exam of the Professional Regulations Commission, 9,707 passed.

Warm welcome for Cebu top passer
In Cebu, a top-notcher got a warm welcome from her teachers at the Cebu Normal University’s College of Nursing.
Chara Gabiana was one of nine CNU graduates who topped the licensure exam last May. The CNU is happy all 43 of its graduates who took the exam passed.
“Ang aming mga estudyante ay acting like a college student but treated like high school students. Parang inaalagaan pa rin sila kahit malalaki na sila,” said CNU College of Nursing dean Laurence Garcia. — Joel Locsin/LBG, GMA News
