The Apostle Paul is also one of the reasons why I defend Christianity against Islam:
According to Islam Defenders, The Letter of Apostle Paul should not be considered the word of God.
Three big reasons Muslims are mad at Apostle Paul:
First, if Muslims accept Apostle Paul as God’s servant, they cannot marry more than one wife, because that is the teaching of Apostle Paul.
“He must have only one wife.”(1 Timothy 3:2)
Second, the Muslims were not given access to the secrets so Muslims always claim that there are many contradictions in the bible. In reality, they do not really understand the scriptures since God did not give them the ability to understand the mysteries.
“And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.”(Matthew 13:11)
Because God has not given them the grace, they malign Apostle Paul because they envy him. They will destroy themselves because they twist the message of God through the Apostle Paul.
“as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.”(2 Peter 3:16)
Apostle Paul was given by God an extraordinary intelligence which was not given to the Muslims.
“God has given me the responsibility of serving his church by proclaiming his entire message to you.This message was kept secret for centuries and generations past, but now it has been revealed to God’s people.”(Colossians 1:25-26)
Third, because the Apostle Paul preached that Christ was crucified which is being denied by the Muslims.
“For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we also are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you.”(2 Corinthians 13:4)
The Apostle Paul has been to Jerusalem and talked to Apostle Peter who was one of those who was with the Lord Jesus when He was still on earth.
“Then three years later I went to Jerusalem to get to know Peter, and I stayed with him for fifteen days.The only other apostle I met at that time was James, the Lord’s brother.”(Galatians 1:18-19)
Muhammad is denying the truth that Christ was crucified on the cross. The qur’an appeared only 600 years after crucifixion of Christ. The Apostle Paul’s letter to the Galatians was written in 49 AD which recorded that he went to Jerusalem. Saudi Arabia is 2,800 kilometers away from Jerusalem. Then, a prophet of the brave Muslims has the guts to say that Christ was not crucified?
It is simple. If we analyze, Did Muhammad ever had the chance to be with Apostle Peter who was in the company of Christ?
No!
The Apostle Paul was in the company of the Apostle Peter. That is the big difference that Muslims who criticize Apostle Paul should realize.
