The Supreme Court will be deciding the constitutionality of the RH law on April 8, 2014. This will be a historic moment as Filipinos and Catholics, and the ruling will reverberate for many, many years after, affecting the lives of our children and theirs.
For this reason, we ask that as a country, we may be united in prayer as a whole nation upholding life, marriage and the Filipino family during the crucial days of April 7 and 8. Therefore, we suggest the following activities during the said days:
1. Recite the Oratio Imperata against the RH Law at the end of each mass.
2. If possible, send a delegation from your parish or community to the Supreme Court in Baguio, the venue of this landmark decision, and join us in prayer on April 7 and 8. The venue is very near the terminal of Victory Liner and is easy to find. Please coordinate with the Pro Life office for the schedule of the vigils.
4. Put red ribbons in front of your churches, seminaries, monasteries, and homes.
We cannot stress enough the gravity and importance of these activities on these days. We storm heaven with our prayers, and ask that we may be spared of the law that will open the door for abortion, euthanasia, same sex marriage, and population control, among other evils. Please pass this information to other parishes, churches, groups, and communities. Together, we will pray for victory against the forces of the Culture of Death, and hand in hand let us defend and uphold life.
