Rusell involved in infidelity with Miss Ball

For all who are interested in studying the history of the Watch Tower Society and Jehovah’s Witnesss, it is important to start with the founder of their theological errors and false teachings-Charles Taze Rusell.

At an early age,Rusell started to deviate from the doctrines of Orthodoxy and Apostolic Christianity, in turn disagreeing with many basic Christian teachings such as Hell and Trinity. He was in particular fascinated with the teachings of Adventists and their false predictions of Jesus’ second coming. He observed that predictions of Christ’s second coming would attract a following and made plans to exploit gullible who would be fascinated with his predictions.

FALSE PROPHECIES

Early in his ministry, Rusell claimed that Jesus would return visibly in 1874. When the year 1874 approached with no signs of Jesus coming, Rusell changed his calculations to 1914. When 1914 came with no signs of Jesus return, Rusell then claimed that Jesus return would be invisible.

In 1876 he was elected Pastor by a small class of Bible students. Seven years later, Rusell started his own Society; Zions Watchtower Tract Society which is today known as the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society. By the time of his death in 1916, nothing of his predictions about Jesus has occurred!

INFIDELITY, DIVORCE AND WOMANIZING

A year after publishing the first edition of the Watch Tower, Rusell married Maria Ackley- who later divorced Rusell over his infidelity. She applied for legal separation in 1903 which was granted. Rusell got involved with a certain Miss Ball-a young woman employed by Rusell in the Bible house.

DEATH

Everything about Rusell seems to be controversial, including his death. He died on October 31 1916 in his train car during a return from a ministry. The strangest thing is that he requested to be buried in a Roman Toga. He was buried in a masonic pyramid in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania .

Despite the Watch Towers soft and fuzzy potryal of Rusell, the facts remain that he was a bonafide false prophet, a womanizer and outright liar.

He mastered the art of using religious power by making untruthful predictions to fools and mislead the minds of those waiting for Christ’s return. Jehovah’s Witnesses must realize that their modern theology rests on a bed of spiritual uncertainty and pagan influence, instrumented by the Governing Body of the Watch Tower and not from God.
