According to the Book of Judges, there were Judges in the Israel appointed to lead God’s people. In our time, we have also judges in every trial court.
Are these judges both in the Bible mentioned and in the trial courts of our time were essentially the same?
The answer is not because these judges in the Israel were appointed and sent by God to lead, strengthen, and save his people against the enemies (Jg 2:16).
No doubt that these judges of Israel were successful in their mission because God was with them (Jg 2:18).

The judges in our times are those judges in the trial courts. Their appointment process and powers were based on the constitution and bylaws of the land that can be revised or changed anytime depending on the necessity that may arise.
