PETROS

..the HOUSEHOLD of God ;being built upon the FOUNDATION OF THE APOSTLES and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the chief corner stone; Eph 2:20

…in GOD’s HOUSEHOLD, which is the CHURCH of the living God, the PILLAR and FOUNDATION of the TRUTH.” (1Tim 3:15)

Cephas (Kepha) is the Aramaic equivalent of Peter, and having the same meaning, namely, rock. As a surname of the prince of the Apostles, it is applied to Peter eight times in the New Testament. In one place (John 1:42) it is explicitly mentioned that it is the same as Peter.

CEPHAS means ROCK , not a pebble, not a small
ROCK. STONE is EBEN in GREEK. [Splendor1618: STONE is LITHOS in Greek]

Jesus is the rock, and also was Peter in the founding of the Church by Jesus himself upon a rock (note the parable of the wise house builder who built his house on a rock, not on sand). So any complain? complain to Jesus who calls him Peter. And if you disagree with Jesus, so then stop calling Peter as Peter because Peter means “rock”. You should be calling him Simon instead…
