Biblical basis of Soriano for MCGI exposed as DECEPTION
Soriano loves to cite Daniel 12: 3-4,9-10 to justify his claims and his church’s existence. He claims that for a long period of time the knowledge of the Bible is closed. He then add that the phrase ,” till the time of the end” refers to our time”. Because it’s the end of time the “words” and seal are now open” then knowledge will increase. He is the wise man who will instrumental for others to be like the stars.
Does his claim fit perfectly with Scriptures? Not really. It could however sounds credible to his followers as they were DECEIVED to accept his every words as gospel truth.
Let’s start from the beginning:
Daniel 12:1-5 KJVS
[1] … And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be DELIVERED, EVERY ONE that shall be FOUND WRITTEN IN THE BOOK. [2] And many of them that SLEEP in the DUST of the earth shall AWAKE, some to EVERLASTING LIFE, and some to SHAME and everlasting contempt.”
MY COMMENT:
Verse 1 speaks of the trouble before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ as he explained to us in MATTHEW 24, And finally the judgment day WHEREIN the dead will rise to face judgment.
Next verse:
” [3] And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
MY COMMENT:
The verse tells us the reward of those who are “wise”. We will deal more on this later. Jesus gave us his words on this one.
Next verse:
[4] But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased”
MY COMMENT:
Notice how the structure of this chapter appears to be inverted. It was the JUDGMENT and giving reward of those who are faithful to God and so on. God basically had shown it to prophet Daniel what is to come. These includes some details but not all. From the text it tells us that there is A BOOK SEALED OR CLOSED BY DANIEL as God commanded. This book WILL NOT BE OPENED “even to the time of the end”. What is this book then that will be opened AFTER the end of time? This could ONLY PERTAINS to the BOOK OF LIFE and NOT the Bible as SORIANO seems to suggest.
Let us compare and read:
Revelation 13:8 KJVS
[8] And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the BOOK OF LIFE of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
Notice how these verses are closely related to Daniel 12: 1-2:
Revelation 20:13-15 KJVS
[13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. [14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. …”
The BOOK that was shown to prophet Daniel then is the BOOK OF LIFE. Yet what it contain is to be kept secret that is WHY God said to Daniel,” shut up the words” and then asked him to seal or close it.” God however gave a glimpse of what will happen to the faithful and wise. Next verse tells us.
Verse 3;
Daniel 12:3 KJVS
[3] And they that be wise shall shine as the BRIGHTNESS of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.”
SORIANO likes to ISOLATE this verse to TWIST ITS REAL MEANING then use it for his deception. As I demonstrated above. The wisemen who are like Christ (Christ the LIGHT of the world) those who works for the kingdom of God and for the preaching of the gospel will shine like the sun or the stars.
Jesus clearly defined it for us, he said:
Matthew 13:41-43 [41] “the Son of Man will send out his angels to gather up out of his Kingdom all those who cause people to sin and all others who do evil things, [42] and they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where they will cry and gnash their teeth. [43] Then a God’s people will SHINE LIKE THE SUN in their Father’s Kingdom. Listen, then, if you have ears to hear, let him hear”
How about Daniel 12:9-10? SORIANO started with a lie and finished it with more lies. Let’s DISSECT IT VERSE BY VERSE:
Daniel 12:8-10 KJVS
[8] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? “
My COMMENT:
Prophet Daniel heard something yet it is apparent that he did NOT UNDERSTOOD it, he then asked God, What did he asked? It’s about ” end of things”. God replied to him that it’s not for him to know.
Verse 9 clarifies this.
Let’s continue:
[9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”
My COMMENT:
God although he had shown something to the prophet, God told Daniel that it would remain sealed and close until God will open and reveal it on judgment day.
Let’s look at verse 9 and 10 together:
Let us read:
Daniel 12:9-10 KJVS
[9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. [10] Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”
SORIANO does claim that he is the “wiseman” “the wise” in the above verse BUT contextually NOT a single person. Although the definite article ” the” is used it does not refer to specific and single person. It is as much as true concerning what is being contrasted in the verse which is “the wicked”. This would be absurd as it would mean that there are only two people on the face of the earth. It’s like the verse then is saying that there are only two kinds of people on earth; “the good and the bad.
Any trace of truth of his claim from these verses? NONE AT ALL even the slightest hint. If the WORDS are closed WHEN was it CLOSED? Who will or who opened it? All SORIANO does is the CLAIM for himself as “the WISE” who will understand. Of course his CLAIM is self-serving. Anyone can claim for himself that
he is “someone” much like Joseph Smith and Manalo.
Jesus is the WISDOM of God, the LIGHT of the world and He is the TRUTH. He then established his church that his truth and the wisdom of God be made known. Christ being the light of the world makes us lights like himself.
THROUGH CHRIST’s blood we faithful are CLEANSED AND PURIFIED as Daniel 12:10 tells us confirmed by the book of Revelation.
Rev 1:5
“And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and WASHED us from our sins in his own blood,”
Revelation 5:9 KJVS
[9] “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy BLOOD out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;”
Rev 7:14
“And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have WASHED their robes, and made them WHITE in the BLOOD of the Lamb.”
These verses are CLEAR and easy to understand. We can see that these verses are DIRECTLY related to Daniel 12:10.
SORIANO concocted this lie and he knows that he is just making it up. Let’s eXpose more of his lies the next time.
