CFD MANILA/ CFD Q.C.: 4th MEETING-3rd FORMATION TRAINING! BIGGER, BRIGHTER & STRONGER!

The CFD in Metro Manila led by CFD Luzon Governor Atty. Marwil Llasos who is also the CFD QC President and CFD Manila President Michael Vincent Suico. For the first time the members surpassed the 100 mark. In fact 150+ attended the event.

THROUGH THE MERCY OF GOD THE CFD IN METRO MANILA ONCE AGAIN GATHERED FOR ITS 4th MEETING AND 3rd APOLOGETIC FORMATION. THIS EVENT IS HISTORIC BECAUSE FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER THE FIRST TWO TEAMS OF LEADERS COMPOSING THE BOARDS OF STEWARDS OR TEMPORARY LEADERS PRIOR TO FORMAL ELECTIONS HAVE BEEN GIVEN THEIR OATH OF OFFICE. THE LEGITIMACY OF THIS ORGANIZATION AS THE ONE OFFICIALLY RECOGNIZED BY THE CFD NATIONAL PRESIDENT AND THE CFD NATIONAL BOARD OF GOVERNORS IS THEN MADE FINAL AND DEFINITIVE.

THE GROUP IS NOW COMPOSED OF TWO MAJOR GROUP: CFD MANILA AND CFD QUEZON CITY. BOTH SHALL BE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FR. ABE ARGANIOSA A CFD NATIONAL ADVISER AND NATIONAL SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR EMERITUS AND THE DIRECTORSHIP OF ATTY. MARWIL LLASOS WHO WILL BE THE MANAGER OF THE ORGANIZATION FOR ENTIRE LUZON. ATTY. MARS WILL ALSO ASSUME THE PRESIDENCY OF CFD QC WHILE THE CFD MANILA IS ENTRUSTED TO THE LEADERSHIP OF THE YOUNG BUT HIGHLY RESPECT MICHAEL VINCENT SUICO, AN ACCOUNTANCY GRADUATE FROM POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES.

MORE AND MORE, YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN ARE COMING TO JOIN. THEY ARE BEING INSPIRED TO SPREAD THE NEWS AND TO BRING WITH THEM THEIR FRIENDS AND FAMILY MEMBERS BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY OF THE TEACHINGS THEY ARE RECEIVING AND THE DEEP LOVE OF GOD AS WELL AS THE CHURCH PERMEATING EACH OF OUR SESSIONS. N.B.: MAY I ADD THAT THE MAIN TOPIC FOR THIS FORMATION PROGRAM IS THE SIGN OF THE CROSS. THERE WAS A MOCK DEBATE LED BY PETER COSENILLO AND CARLO CORTEZ. IT AIMS TO TRAIN THE YOUNG MEMBER HOW TO DEFEND THE FAITH IN PUBLIC FORA AND ON PERSONAL ENCOUNTERS WITH THE ENEMIES OF THE FAITH.

It was as a great weekend indeed!

I learned a lot fron the 3rd CFD formation for this year! From the mock debate to the talataan discussion of Atty. Marwil Nacor Llasos on the SIGN OF THE CROSS!

Of course, aside from knowing the common premises/arguments being assailed by noncatholics and the best response to say on each attacks… I was also able to appreciate more the very sign/mark that identifies us with Christ.. That is the CROSS.

It’s so nice to meet new friends din yesterday, Kuya Dominic G. Bermudez, kuya Mharbert Magbitang Canilang, John Vincent Suan, Sis Irish Margaret Almoguerra Gojol, Rhonalyn Sapois Bongato, Janelle Regio Dela Peña,Leonard Bryan Fernandez, Christiana Rose Fernandez, Paulo Realengo,Kenneth Endaya, at sa marami png iba!

And of course, im so glad to be reunited again with my kuya Bryan Panuncio! Next month ulit! smile

At s TeamSt.TeresaofAvila, manong Edwin Eborda at Phoenyx Barcelona Brucelo! Hahaha. Every weekend dapat magkita. Hahaha.

And what makes yesterday more special is we finished it with a BANG!! Yes, in the very place kung san BinANG si Jose Rizal! Haha. “Streetfighting” in Luneta is an eye-opener to me. Marami akong reflection. Kasi di ko n maikwento pa. Masakit n ang mata ko. Hahaha.

I just want to thank the Lord for continuously helping me to grow in faith and for giving me new companions in my spiritual journey here on earth. Thanks s inyo mga kapatid!
