Another CFD-Davao apologist soon to be ordained in the order of priesthood – Rev. Giovanni Orong, OAD

We are happy to announce the upcoming ordination of our very own Rev. Giovanni Orong from the Order of Augustinian Discalced (OAD) this coming October 25, 2014 at Asilo dela Milagrosa Church, Cebu City. Before entering the seminary, he graduated from University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) and took up Bachelor of Science Major in Industrial Education (BSIE). An active member of Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) and was an Auditor (CFD-USEP 2001). A very religious and passionate person, dedicated and motivated in his zeal to serve the Church and his immediate community, he decided to enter the Religious life bringing with him the ideals of being a Catholic Faith Defender.

CFD-Davao is so blessed to have produced many good fruits and vocations.  We do also have some nuns from Pink Sisters, RVM and Presentation of Mary congregations. In the case of Priesthood, soon this Deacon will join the rank of Rev. Fr. Arnel Bajo, Ph.D (Founding President USEP-CFD), Rev. Fr. Jorge Angga, STB (Founding Officer CFD-USEP), Rev. Fr. Nacua (from Institute of Technology), Rev. Fr. Renante Aban (Corps Commander, ROTC-USEP) as ordained minister from University of Southeastern Philippines.
