Absolutely NOT! The notion that SIN cannot separate you from JESUS CHRIST is WRONG!  Let us read about an article from a reputable man of GOD from Orthodox Church that says;

“If there is no GOD, EVERYTHING is permissible”

                          – By Fr. Steven Kostoff -

The quote says that if there is No GOD, there will be no Morality/No fear of SIN. We can do whatever we want even Evil things. It is totally contrary to what GOD has commanded us. SIN is evil and doing evil is neglecting/denying God’s command and GOD himself.  Now let us read the Gospel of John;

John 10:27-30

27 My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 What my Father has given me is greater than all else, and no one can snatch it out of the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”

While it says that no one shall SNATCH the sheep “member of the Faithful” out of the hand of the Lord but take note also that JESUS did not comment upon the possibility of any of the sheep willfully straying from the flock and choosing to leave the sheepfold.  Let us read the Gospel of Timothy;

 2 Timothy 2:11-13

11 The saying is sure: If we have died with him, we will also live with him;

12 if we endure, we will also reign with him; if we deny him, he will also deny us;

13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself.

As you can see, there is a distinction to be made between being “snatched away” by the force of another and choosing by free will to abandon Christ and risk the loss of eternal life. Let’s read it from the St Paul Wrote for the Romans;

Romans 8:38-39

38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

See that Paul did not include SIN in this list, which is the one thing which can separate a person from Jesus Christ and salvation. All else that St. Paul lists is outside of a person but sin proceeds from within and if it is mortal, it spiritually kills the individual and separates the person from the abiding love of God. It is so SAD that so many people are misled by PASTOR of Protestants, misled to believe that they themselves cannot possibly separate themselves from Christ by committing SIN.

Let us understand what really the correct view of SALVATION. “As in the Bible it is written, we are already SAVED through the gift of GOD w/c is GRACE.”

Romans 8:24

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?

Ephesians 2:5-8

5 even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up with him, and made us sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God—

Why are we SAVED? Because GOD loves us; He gave us his only SON Jesus Christ OUR Savior. We are being saved by Jesus Christ by His death and resurrection.

1 Corinthians 1:18

18 For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

2 Corinthians 2:15

15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing;

When JESUS died for our SINS, we are saved; but as long as we are alive, our salvation is not yet permanent because we as a HUMAN can still commit sin every day; one can still lose his/her salvation through SIN; because SIN is the main reason that we separate ourselves from GOD even during the time of ADAM and EVE.

1 Corinthians 15:22

For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

Isaiah 59:2

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.

Romans 11:22

Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.

See how PAUL reminds US, WARNED US that we could still commit SIN and also can be CUT OFF from the FOLD.

Romans 5:9-10

9 Much more surely then, now that we have been justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from the wrath of God.10 For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.

1 Corinthians 3:12-15

12 Now if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— 13 the work of each builder will become visible, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each has done. 14 If what has been built on the foundation survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If the work is burned up, the builder will suffer loss; the builder will be saved, but only as through fire.

Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling, we must keep working to maintain our state of being saved. We must keep working and believe, keep LOVING for the loving is to obey GOD’s law/commandments.

Galatians 5:14

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.

Philippians 2:12

12 Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed me, not only in my presence, but much more now in my absence, “WORK OUT” your own salvation with fear and trembling;

WORK OUT means to bring about by labor and exertion. Paul speaks of SALVATION as a life-long process, never as a one-time experience. We should never assume that we have nothing to worry about.  He reiterates the same point again in his second letter to Corinth.

2 Corinthians 13:5

5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are living in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not realize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless, indeed, you fail to meet the test!

Paul tells us our faith is living and can go through many stages. It never stays permanently fixed after a single conversion experience no matter how genuine or sincere. Our faith can be shipwrecked “1 Timothy 1:19”, departed from “1 Timothy 4:1”, disowned “1 Timothy 5:8” wandered from “1 Timothy 6:10”, and missed “1 Timothy 6:21”. It is very clear “WE COULD STILL LOST OUR SALVATION”, that is why “WE MUST WORK HARDER” to keep our salvation.

Romans 5:2

2 through whom we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand; and we boast in our hope of sharing the glory of God.

Matthew 24:12-14

12″Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. 13″But the one who“ENDURES” to the end, he WILL BE SAVED. 14″This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

FAITH ALONE and ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED DEBUNKED!!!

Note that a man who neglects his family for selfish pursuits denies Christ in his actions. And as we have seen, the Bible records in many places extensive lists of sins whereby we can deny Christ, such as 1 Corinthians 6:9-10: “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor sexual perverts, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.” Scripture never says the saved can do these things and still go to heaven.
