Like I said, Dating Daan beliefs are US Centric, strange, unsusual and a remnant of 19th Century thinking and there is no doubt about that. These things I mention are fundamental Christian beliefs which were defended by the Church Fathers I alluded to in my article. St.Athanasius is the one who defended the Divinity of Christ against the Arian heretics. Actually, this St.Athanasius is the one who produced the Canon of the Bible you hold in your hands. Let me tell you, you are a parasite of Arius the Heretic, you are trying to divert us from telling the truth of what transpired in ancient times in a bid to cover up for your sects corrupt gospel.

Let me warn you Madame, that will not work for you. The truth is that your beliefs from your thug organization are demonic and what I mention are fundamental Christian beliefs believed for 15 centuries before your thug organization came after and a result of Luther’s reformation. You Dating Daan sect has borrowed much from the devious teachings of Luther and his former heretic Arius, who even your fellow Protestants disowned as a heretics. Don’t you feel ashamed that your beliefs stem from the falsity of Arius and Luther? There’s nothing Christian about your Christ-deity rejecting cult.

Notice how he confuses the Spirit to be the Father and the Son and not Himself. Soriano does not know what “equal” means and he confuses the nature of the one God and through misapplying and torturing Scriptures to support his erroneous views. If Jesus is also a Spirit like His Father as Soriano says, why does the Spirit come on him during Baptism by John the Baptist? “Resolution for this is a televised debate.”

Madame, you do not know what you are talking about surely. Who told you this is a televised debate or was a televised debate? Who told you? Stop being self deceving. This was a blog post. Let me tell you, even if it was a televised debate, there is nothing we fear from the kinds of you. We have refuted all the Iglesia Ni Manalo Debaters in televised debates. These Iglesia debaters themselves defeated Ang Dating Daan debaters. Be assured, Madame, that there is nothing we fear-even on Televised Debate. Before you can accuse Catholics, make sure you know what you are talking about. First, I think it is important for you to define what “veneration” means. So many times, non-Catholics like you have a way of redefining what a word means to make a false implication, a straw man.

When looking at the Saints, we venerate them and veneration simply means to show honor and respect for those who gave their lives to God in heroic fashion. I have always enjoyed reading the lives of the Saints who are our role models. Adoration, which is known as latria, is the worship and homage that is rightly offered to God alone. That is the highest act of reverence and worship. Veneration is also known as dulia, which is the honor and reverence appropriately due to the excellence of a created person. In other words a Saint.

Jesus has something to say about the saints in heaven, He said, “The children of this age marry and remarry, but those who are deemed worthy to attain to the coming age and to the resurrection of the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. They can no longer die, for they are like angels; and they are the ones who will rise. That the dead will rise even Moses made known in the passage about the bush, when he called ‘Lord’ the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob; and he is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.” (Luke 20;27, 34-38) The souls who are saved already share in eternal happiness as they await for the resurrection of the dead when the soul and the body will be reunited. The risen body will have a glorified state of being and we will be like Jesus. St. Paul writes, “What eye has not seen, and ear has not heard, and what has not entered the human heart, what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

I really like St. Paul’s writing, 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 states, “Do you not know that the runners in the stadium all run in the race, but only one wins the prize? Run so as to win. Every athlete exercises discipline in every way. They do it to win a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one.” What a great gift from God that we have those role models who point the way to God by their example and lives. That is as simple as it gets why we honor the Saints. You don’t do in your dating Daan cult yet you accuse us of making these beloved of God our role models. Shame on you!

The Bible teaches us to invoke those in heaven and ask them to pray with us. Consider Psalms 103, we pray, “Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word! Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers that do his will!” (Palms. 103:20-21). And in Psalms 148 we pray, “Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his host!” (Palms. 148:1-2).

Madame, for Catholics, the real answer to give to those who wants you to think that the Catholic Church idolize Saints is that the Church had always valued the prayer and the memory of the Saints. Maybe the idea of praying to the Saints is a bit strong for the likes of Jane Abao so I like the idea of praying with the Saints who intercede on our behalf in their praises to God. In our human nature, we are always looking for heroes. Football’s hall of fame is located everywhere. The Catholic Hall of Fame is located in Heaven. Just as we honor some of the great sports legends and war heroes, we especially honor those who lived for God and are in Heaven.

James 5:16 states in part, “The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful”, those in heaven at the throne of God has very important prayers offered up for us.

Hebrews 12:1 is the kicker, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us…”

Don’t you feel ashamed that you share the same mentality with other religious cults? Your false charges won’t work Madame. You are just shooting yourself in the chest. Let me tell you; First, a word about idols- in the general sense and in the specific Biblical sense. In the general sense, an idol is anything that detracts someone’s attention from God. In the broadest sense, the TV can be an idol or your smartphone or facebook or even your career. All of these things have the possibility of becoming too large of a focus in your life, to the detriment of your relationship with God. In that way they become, in a literary sense, idols. That is to say, they are unhealthy distractions.

I think you are being deliberately deceptive or simply do not properly understand the concepts of idols and worship. The main reason for this is that one of the out-growths of the protestant reformation is a new and different brand of worship that differs starkly from the Old and New Testament models which make you completely miss the whole point. Biblically you need to look at the Scriptures and consider the evidence of all these verses and passages: 1 Kings 2, Psalm 45, Revelation 5, Revelation 8, Revelation 11:19-12:17.

But once exposed to the Dating Daan bag of tricks, they become blatantly obvious.

Look here, according to Mr. Soriano, faith in the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is insufficient to save a person; but in addition, Soriano and his cult followers teach that keeping all of God’s commandments are required for salvation.

Ha ha ha ha!! Hehehehe! This is known as the heresy of “laws-salvation.” Shared by other cults like SDA.Soriano also demonically teaches: “The Jesus and Christ of the Bible is not God the Father.” Wow!! Madame, do you question these lies from your leader? Ha ha ha!

The Bible calls Soriano a liar.

In Isaiah 9:6 we read a prophecy concerning the Messiah… Isaiah 9:6, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Madame, God already has the number for your cult and it is the 666! Your cynical statements simply won’t work Madame. On a greater level, this clever trick is used to convince Dating Daan members that the Ang Dating Daan is the “truth” and all other religions are false. ADD’s literature and broadcast is an overly redundant barrage of cynical and negative comments suggesting disgust in all other religious faiths. The Dating Daan continually expresses severe judgments on all other religions as well as verbally attacking personalities. This never ending criticism elevates the Dating Daan cult and enrobes its members with a haughty and cocky confidence. This is the very formula this cult uses to induce an ungodly and non-Biblical elitism within their members.

Further, even though the Dating Daan accuses the Catholic Church of fallacy, it is actually the Dating Daan that exhibits fallacious logic which is infused in the subconscious minds of Dating Daan members. This clever trick is used to convince ADD members that the Dating Daan is the “truth” and all other religions are false. In reality, ADD broadcasts and literature is an overly redundant barrage of cynical and negative comments. The Dating Daan cult is masterful through their use of fallacious statements. ADD members undeniably accept all the teachings and doctrines within the cult because the teachings appear to be reasonable, acceptable and truthful. However, the cult’s teachings are like a flawed product disguised by impressive packaging. Although these teachings appear truthful, they are embodied in fallacy with a deliberate attempt to mislead. The Dating Daan literature is saturated with these fallacious statements in which the error is not obvious. Eli Soriano uses this to masterfully deceive, trick, control and manipulate his followers.

Do not let clear thinking be swamped by these semantics and devious teachings falsely presented as the “established truth” and “of God”, -they are not true in the real sense, they are the fanciful falsehoods of human imaginations of Eli Soriano and are specific statements that manipulate the actions of members like this Jane Abao. They never are truth, they are lies promoted in the name of God to seek cheap popularity and a following. The Dating Daan is nothing more than a dangerous and destructive cult masquerading as a religion.

Besides do not be a hypocrite Madame. Empirically Protestants have more leprosy than Catholics. I can prove that if you want me to do. This is not an argument boast but a fact. EUGENIO SCALFARI-AN ATHEIST’S PREJUDICE, OUR FREEDOM Let me also use this opportunity to explain to our readers who Scalfari is. He is an atheist, in short a Non-believer. Scalfari does not believe in God but nevertheless as the Pope says “who for many years has been interested in and fascinated by the preaching of Jesus of Nazareth”. I came to know about him in the 1999s through the Communion and Liberation magazines. Like Soriano, he is another coward who tries to distract the Catholic Church in Italy. The only message for Scalfari is one:

We belong to the Church that through a charism associated with the emergency of Pope Francis, has not renounced its appeal to reason and freedom and thus reveals itself open to all the interests of life. Representatives of the secular world like Scalfari, instead of belonging or observing this phenomenon note a passion for a reason and for freedom that they feel familiar and close to their most authentic inspirations. Reason is not to be confused with opinions generated by and infused with prejudice. And freedom is not to be confused with the pharisaical rhetoric of libertinism, which, extolling transgressiveness, ends up being integrated with those in power.

We are a Church that precisely through the freedom of Jesus has swelled a new life with the emergency of Pope Francis. What strikes us most is that all those who belong to the Church without pre-conceptions, is just this open humanity of which the Church is the gathering place for all consciences, whatever the color of their skin and the ideas that they bring.
