We cannot read word-for-word in the Bible anything about Aids.

However, we know that Aids is an ailment that can kill.

We can read something in the Bible like this.

“I will weaken them with famine, burning fever, and deadly disease. I will send the fangs of wild beasts and poisonous snakes that glide in the dust.”(Deuteronomy 32:24)

Until now, there is no permanent remedy for AIDS. Medication for AIDS such as ARVs (anti-retroviral medications) will not cure your infection. Most of the patients die.

Is this sickness a curse from GOD?

When God pronounced judgment on Adam, death entered the world .

“When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.”(Romans 5:12)

All sickness, from the common cold to cancer, is part of the curse, and we who live in a cursed world are subject to decay. So, AIDS is part of God’s judgment in a cursed world.

People obtained this sickness because of immorality. They are not contented with one partner. They do not take care of themselves.

“Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.”(1 Corinthians 6:18)

However, not all people afflicted with AIDS are guilty of sexual sins. There are individuals who were merely infected with AIDS due to blood transfusion. There are others who were conceived in the wombs of mothers infected with AIDS.

Those who have spouses should be contented with their partners because anyone who is immoral will be judged by GOD.

“Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.”(Hebrews 13:4)

AIDS victims must remember that the Lord has remedies for any type of sickness. Go back to him and repent. Ask for His forgiveness.

There is something impossible with doctors and medicines. With God, everything is possible.

And Jesus said to him, “‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.”(Mark 9:23)
